Education beyond high school. In North Carolina, this includes postsecondary degrees and credentials earned in dual enrollment programs while in high school; attending a public university within the 16-campus University of North Carolina system or one of the 58 colleges within the North Carolina Community College System; attending one of the state’s 36 non-profit private colleges and universities; or earning a credential or license from an authorized or accredited organization.
