In February 2020, myFutureNC and Carolina Demography collaborated to launch the myFutureNC Attainment Dashboard. The dashboard shows North Carolina’s progress toward the state’s overall 2030 goal for postsecondary educational attainment, as well as 18 educational performance indicators. These indicators span the education continuum, capturing key transition points for students from NC Pre-K through college completion and into the labor market.
The purpose of this dashboard is to give both state and local leadership a way to measure our progress across the education continuum and to unite around common goals as we work collaboratively to turn the myFutureNC Commission‘s call to action into a plan of action to make the 2030 vision of 2 million North Carolinians ages 25-44 with a postsecondary credential or degree a reality.
We invite you to explore the dashboard. And, as you do, we want to hear from you. Please use the feedback form at the top of each page to request additional data or to share a resource that should be added to the dashboard.
The dashboard will be updated on an annual basis to show progress and present a clear picture of where we stand and where we need to go. If you’d like to receive updates, please fill out this short form.
Funding for the dashboard was provided by the John M. Belk Endowment.
